I saw something some stauses on Facebook the other day that said “Girls want attention. Women want respect.” 

I WANT BOTH FUCK YOU

As if wanting attention is purely childish and pointless. Do you really want some to say they “respect” you but never give you a moment of their time and attention?

Also begs the question of who deserves attention then. People who don’t want it? Yeah, that sounds great. I know that all the introverted, keep-to-themselves people would be just THRILLED.

EDIT: Also, can’t you just respect everybody’s wishes and desires? If you can only do that to people who aren’t actively seeking attention, well then you’re an assclarinet of the highest degree.
